Community guidelines
Cosmose is a place for adults who want to meet. These guidelines say what is expected here, what has no place here, and what happens when the line is crossed. They are part of the terms of use you accept when you enter.
Adults only
Entering Cosmose is declaring that you are eighteen or older. Sharing or viewing a photo or a video also needs a third-party age verification by AgeVerif and a verified majority. An account that turns out to belong to a minor is closed.
No sexual content involving a minor
Any image, video or proposal of a sexual nature involving a minor, real or simulated, is forbidden without exception. Cosmose removes it, keeps it as evidence, closes the account and reports it to the competent authorities. There is no second warning.
Media are checked before they are published
Every photo and video uploaded is compared, before any publication, against the fingerprints of known abuse material kept by Shield, a service of the Canadian Centre for Child Protection (Project Arachnid). A recognised media is never published: it is quarantined and kept as evidence. Published media are checked again as that database grows.
Consent, always
A pseudonym is no licence to harm. No photo or video of a person without their agreement, no sexual content sent to someone who did not ask for it, no harassment, no threats. Blocking and reporting are open to everyone, temporary accounts included.
One person, one identity
No impersonation, no multiple accounts to get around a block, no disposable e-mail address to open an account. Media cannot be uploaded from an anonymisation network such as Tor; reading remains possible.
No commerce, no scams
Cosmose is not a marketplace: no prostitution, no paid solicitation, no links to paid services, no advertising. What is illegal offline is illegal here too.
What happens when the line is crossed
Depending on the severity: removal of the content, suspension of the account, permanent closure, and a report to the authorities where the law requires it. The necessary evidence is kept for the duration of that procedure. A suspended account loses its sessions at once.
